WHAT ABOUT COVID-19?

 
 

Due to the tragedy we know as COVID-19, we have entered unprecedented times in the industry. Now, more than ever, it’s extremely important to do everything you can to protect not only ourselves, but others.

I have always been meticulous about hygiene and sanitization, but I take my job and health very seriously and have decided to step it up even further.

It’s scary times, and I get it!

Am I vaccinated?

Yes.

Have I been working on set?

Yes, cautiously.

Will I be working on set?

Yes. I will continue to be selective of the jobs I commit to.

What is different about your process now?

I have always been a stickler for cleanliness. I use disposables anywhere appropriate, I don’t double dip, I don’t cross-contaminate, and I sanitize myself and items religiously.

The biggest difference will be in incorporation of chemical disinfectants. In doing so, my completion time/duration of services will be extended.

I will be taking more time for both my applications and in between clients to ensure I am taking proper measures. Instead of strictly cleaning and sanitizing in between clients, I will now also be incorporating a chemical disinfectant proven to be effective in killing most pathogens.

My process will look like 1. Clean (wipe the big pieces off, prep for sanitization) 2. Sanitize (sanitize the item and prep to disinfect) and 3. Disinfect (demolish pathogens with chemical, hospital-grade cleaners).

By using both a germicide and an antimicrobial in between clients, I will be killing germs, microorganisms, viruses, bacteria, and fungi. I will be doing my best to ensure that everything in my kit is as clean as possible at all times.

What if I have an appointment booked and become sick or am exposed to someone with Covid?

Please inform me if you have been exposed to Covid or anyone with any type of sickness symptoms. It is important for me and my clients that I do not expose myself to potential threats, especially if they are known. I am happy to reschedule with you!
